After the success of AcYut 3, the team decided to move up to the pinnacle of humanoid robotics. Team AcYut took up the challenge of making an autonomous humanoid.
With this dream in mind, AcYut-4, India's First Autonomous Humanoid was made.
With considerable mechanical changes, a new improved processor, an additional processor for image processing and a vision sensor, AcYut-4 could detect and track objects, shapes and colours. AcYut-4 also set the world record for autonomously lifting the maximum amount of weight in the middle class category. AcYut 4 was capable of playing autonomous soccer using its vision sensors.
